We had a long day traveling from Bozeman to Denver to Newark and finally Venice! Some delays on the flights, but ultimately our travel was very smooth. We took a water bus from the airport to the San Stae stop where our Air BnB host met us and walked us to our wonderful apartment. She showed us all around and gave us some tips for local food. Then, we crashed! So tired!! At 5pm our local guide, Valerio, came to our apartment to give us a walking tour with stops for food and drink. This was a highlight for sure! He showed us around the quiet side streets of Venice and introduced us to some local specialties like fried seafood and mozzarella! The pizza was amazing too.
